APC had no reason to nominate Buhari again – Prelate

Chancellor of Hezekiah University, Umudi, Imo State, and founder, Living Christ Mission Church, Prof. Daddy Hezekiah, has said that the ruling All Progressives Congress had no justifiable reason to have presented Muhammadu Buhari again for the office of the President.

The educationalist cum prelate who spoke to journalists on the state of country said that the President had disappointed the country.

Hezekiah said that Buhari had not done things to improve the economy and the country’s infrastructure, which according to me, means that he does not deserve a second term in office.

The prelate said, “Honestly, I don’t know why the APC presented Buhari again. I am not for anybody or any political party, but I think that the APC should have nominated another person for the office of the President.”

“Under Buhari, poverty, unemployment and killings increased. The dearth of infrastructure, especially lack of roads, is alarming. In seeking reelection, the President must first present his scorecard to Nigerians.”

Hezekiah said that Nigerians must ensure that their votes count, adding that Option A4 was the best electoral mode for the country.

He said, “The biggest problem in Nigeria is rigging. For me, the best method is Option A4 because it is simple, transparent and organised. The National Assembly must make laws that must strengthen the country’s electoral process.”
