Dana Air has announced a buy one get one free offer for couples flying together on its Lagos –Accra –Lagos route. Speaking on the new offer in a statement issued by the Media Manager, Dana Air, Mr. Kingsley Ezenwa said that the new offer was its valentine gift to its guests throughout the month of February, which is usually regarded as a month of love. The statement also quoted Accountable Manager, Dana Air, Mr. Obi Mbanuzuo as saying that ‘’We are in the aviation business and the gift we can offer and continue to offer our guests at this time is quality service, good ambiance for expression of love, as in the case of the guest that recently proposed on-board our flight and free tickets to fly. Obi, while noting that the promo was for everybody, advised guests to register for the airlines’ frequent flyer program and expect more giveaways. Only recently, Dana Air gifted passengers who are also members of its frequent flyer program Dana Miles; with 4,500 miles to fly to Accra.
The airline is reputed for its quality in-flight service, inventive online products and on-time performance. Meanwhile a passenger onboard of Dana Air, Miss Damilola Shoneye travelling on its flight 335 from Lagos to Abuja didn’t know she was in for a movie-like surprise when her lover – Mr. Oyekunle Ayodele proposed to her 72 hours to Valentine aboard a Dana aircraft. According to him, their relationship was spanning four years and ‘’considering that it’s the month of love, I decided to crown it with my intentions to make her mine forever.’’ Miss Shoneye, who tearfully accepted the proposal amidst applause and cheers from other guests onboard the flight, said she wasn’t expecting such an “amazing experience.” The duo thanked the Captain on the flight, Captain Jason Obodo who was also in the know of the intention of Oyekunle Ayodele; for his creativity and support.
