The Forum of Permanent Secretaries in Kogi State has endorsed the state governor, Yahaya Bello, for second term.
The forum expressed satisfaction with the civil service reform carried out by the governor, describing it as “progressive.”
It said the governor deserved support to enable him to consolidate his achievements.
The forum’s chairman, Jibrin Okeme, made its position known on Tuesday after the forum’s meeting with the Special Adviser on Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Abubakar Ohere.
Okeme said the civil service reform had positively repositioned the state for efficiency and performance.
“We are in the same boat with Governor Bello. Wherever he goes, we will go with him,” he said.
Okeme thanked the permanent secretaries and assured them that the state government would continue to do its best in placing high premium on the state civil service.
