Two women, who live on prostitution, have been arrested by the police in Ogun State for allegedly murdering a male “customer.”
The suspects, Kudirat Raji aka Angela and her colleague Esther Bashiru, were said to have stabbed one Adeyinka Olayinka to death.
According to the Ogun State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), ASP Abimbola Oyeyemi , the incident happened on Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at KS Hotel, Ifo.
Oyeyemi stated that, the deceased had retired into the hotel after the day’s supervision of his building under construction in the neighborhood and decided to pass the night with “a call-girl.
He was said to have contracted Kudirat with whom he struck a bargain for a certain amount.
Things took a different twist when at day-break, the deceased allegedly reneged on the agreed amount, resulting in a hot argument.
Piqued by the development, and in an apparent show of solidarity for her “colleague”, who was about to be cheated, Esther went for a bottle, smashed it on floor and thereafter inflicted an injury on the late Olayinka’s friend, who had gone there to pacify the angry whores.
Seeming incensed-Kudirat, on her part, picked a part of the broken bottle, went after Olayinka and stabbed him on the left armpit, which cut one of the victim’s veins through which he bled to death.
The Manager of the Hotel, it was gathered, quickly alerted the Police, and the Divisional Police Officer (DPO), CSP Anthony Haruna, led his men to the scene and promptly arrested the two suspects.
The state’s Commissioner of Police, CP Ahmed Iliyasu has, however, ordered that the case be  transferred to the Homicide section of the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department for discrete investigation and prosecution of the suspects.
