The Christian Association of Nigeria, Ogun State chapter, has called on the state government to embrace dialogue with the leaders of both Christian and Islamic religions in the state towards reopening churches and mosques.
The state CAN Chairman, Bishop Tunde Akin-Akinsanya, made the call in a statement on Abeokuta.
Akin-Akinsanya stressed that dialogue between religious leaders and the state government would bring physical and spiritual end to coronavius in the state.
The CAN chief lauded the efforts of the state government to combat the spread of the virus.
He said, “We applaud the systematic and carefully orchestrated steps taken by our government to minimise the effects of COVID-19.”
