Kaduna security forces rescue 23 kidnapped victims in Kajuru LGA

The Kaduna State Police Command has successfully rescued 23 kidnapped victims during a joint security operation in Kajuru Local Government Area (LGA).

In a statement released by the Command’s spokesperson, DSP Mansir Hassan, it was revealed that security operatives, acting on credible intelligence, launched an operation on February 2, 2025.

The team advanced into the Doka Village forest, where they encountered a group of armed bandits attempting to relocate their victims to Kajuru Forest.

During the fierce confrontation, the combined team of police and military personnel inflicted significant casualties on the bandits, forcing them to flee with gunshot wounds.

This decisive action led to the safe rescue of the kidnapped victims, who had been abducted from Kauru LGA.

All rescued individuals have since been reunited with their families. In the aftermath of the operation, security forces have intensified surveillance and patrols across the region to prevent further attacks.

The Commissioner of Police, CP Rabiu Muhammad, reaffirmed the Command’s dedication to safeguarding lives and property.

He assured residents that the police would continue to collaborate with the military and other security agencies to combat crime, in alignment with Governor Uba Sani’s security vision for Kaduna State.
