The Kwara State Government has again assured the people of the State particularly Civil Servants of its desire to ensure positive change in the running of government.
It also restated its resolve to give priority attention to the welfare of workers to ensure maximum productivity.
The State Deputy Governor, Mr. Kayode Alabi gave the assurance on Friday in Ilorin while addressing Staff of the Office of the Deputy Governor.
Mr Alabi told the workers to be loyal and obedient in the discharge of their duties stressing that renovation of the offices would be done in phases to make it conducive and comfortable for them to give their best.
He implored them to let love be their guiding principles and ensure judicious use of available fund for the benefit of all.
Good Leadership
Mr Alabi promised that the present administration would ensure good leadership describing the State Governor, Alhaji AbdulRahman Abdulrasaq as a God fearing man that have good intentions to develop the State.
The Deputy Governor pledged that the administration would strive at all times to give the best to the people calling for their prayer and support.
“Elections is over, it is now time to work to bring meaningful development to all parts of the State” he said.
He stated that the people massively voted for the APC to liberate the State adding that the government would not disappoint the people.
The Deputy Governor had earlier taken brief from the Heads of Department and later went round the offices.
