•’God ordered me to sacrifice her’
The police in Benue State have arrested a man, John Depuun, who allegedly killed his nine-month-old daughter.
The incident occurred on Wednesday at Mbagur, Shangev- Tiev in Konshisha Local Government.
Police spokesman Moses Yamu confirmed the incident.

He said: “The man has been arrested. Investigation is on to unravel the motive behind the killing.”
The Nation learnt that the man used a sharp knife to kill his daughter, cutting her neck.
He reportedly claimed that God in a dream ordered him to do so.
According to the suspect, God instructed him to use his daughter for sacrifice.
