Ukrainian parliament on Monday described the peacekeeping efforts of US President Donald Trump as decisive in efforts to end the three-year-old war with Russia.
This was as it said that the Ukraine’s security was ensured by support from the United States.
A statement issued three days after a public row in the White House between Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said Washington’s support was more crucial than ever for the Ukrainian people.
“The Ukrainian people desire peace more than anyone else in the world and believe that the personal role of President Donald Trump and his peacekeeping efforts will be decisive in the swift cessation of hostilities and the achievement of peace for Ukraine, Europe and the entire world,” the statement said.
