Members of the Federal Executive Council on Wednesday observed a minute silence in honour of a former Vice President, Dr. Alex Ekwueme, who died on Sunday.
President Muhammadu Buhari led other council’s members including Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo, ministers and top government officials to accord the deceased the honour.
The Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, had at the commencement of the weekly meeting of the council formally informed members of Ekwueme’s death.
Mustapha urged them to observe a minute silence in his honour.
